Trying to replicate the tutorial with the latest Krakatoa, but my override doesn’t match the tutorial’s. The color channel doesn’t indicate “float”. Is this a problem? Do I need to add a vertex color map in the static material? Render computes, but just comes out black, even with a light in the scene.
The image shows Color->Color. The Tutorial uses Color->Emission.
The display of the Input channel’s type has been removed in KMX2, but it should work the same.
If you switch the Output to Emission and have Use Emission enabled, you should see the color if it was correctly saved out to PRT and loaded in the PFlow…

Got a low rez version going, but it only renders white without colors and won’t render the PRT Loader that is getting dissolved so I put a frost on it with vertex colors. There is a hole in the render as you can see above. Is this a memory problem? i’m using 4mb out of 16 mb.
Nevermind, switched to every nth particle.
Missing rectangle in render came back as I tried to render the anim. MR crashes and in scanline the Krakatoa mesher fails.
