Power Management Improvements

Hey,

Have just start setting up the Power Management feature for the studio, and noticed some limitations on the Machine Startup. Basically I would like some scheduling for the Machine Startup.

The group that I’m setting up is the workstations, and there is a schedule (work hours) where I would like the machines to be controlled by the user fully. Then outside that schedule the Power Management should take over and control the machines.

Even better would be to have some way of indicating that there is a user on the machine, and disable any the Power Management on that machine. Then when the user is logged off, machine turned off or idle for a certain time, the Power Management should take over.

Siggraph has come and gone, and the features of Deadline 7 is looking promising on this topic.

Is it possible to get some more information about this? Or is this behind closed beta doors?
