IS there any way to get a PRT Volume to work with Pflow, so that you can do something with it?
perhaps a dumb question… but i cannot seem to figure out a way.
thanks

*Create a Mesher compound object from the PFlow.
*Create a PRT Volume from the Mesher.
*Done.
It is documented here:
thinkboxsoftware.com/krak-re … RT_Volumes
And here is an example:
thinkboxsoftware.com/krak-cr … ink-smoke/
LOL…
*Create a Frost compound object from the PFlow.
*Create a PRT Volume from the Mesher.
*Done.
It depends on what result you want. If you want your PFlow Shapes filled with particles, you use Mesher. If you want a whole new Blob, then you use Frost (if you have it).
Same applies to PFlow as Matte Object - to occlude particles with PFlow Shapes, make a Mesher compound object and add it to a Named Selection Set.
WHAT WAS I THINKING! must get Frost out of head for a minute, must get Frost out of head for a minute… must get…frost… can’t… will power not strong… enough… FROST IT!
Shoot me now!
Bobo, See what happens when you guys don’t put a disclaimer saying that by using frost you may end up getting a FROST FEVER!
I think even the commercial ver should be time limited. Yes it will probably piss off quite a lot of clients… But it’s for their own good.
