Realflow 2012 support in Deadline 5.0?

Hi all,

The subject line says it all! A quick search didn’t turn anything up, so thought I’d ask here - any plans to add support to Deadline 5.0 for Realflow 2012?

Hi Phil,

There currently aren’t any plans to add support in 5.0 (it’s included out of the box in 5.1 though).

However, you could modify the RealFlow plugin for 5.0 and add it manually. Go to \your\repository\plugins\RealFlow and open RealFlow.dlinit and RealFlow.param in a text editor. You just need to add a new entry called RF2012_RenderExecutable to each file (use RF5_RenderExecutable as an example).

Then you could go to \your\repository\scripts\Submission\RealFlowSubmission and open RealFlowSubmission.py in a text editor. Just add “2012” as an option to the version drop down.

After that, you should be good to go.
