Remote monitoring - VNC

Hi,

I had this issue come about when I bought the latest version of VNC, not sure why!, but before I could double click the slave name in the monitor and VNC would auto login using the predefined passwork in the remote software setting. Now when I double click, the VNC dialog comes up asking for the password, even though it is added for it to use.

Is there anyway to force VNC to use a password, I dont understand if the custom command line arguments can do it.

Sounds like something has changed with latest version of VNC.

In Deadline 6, we are actually moving the VNC support out of the core Deadline code and into right-click scripts. The benefit is that if you need to change the command line arguments or make other customizations, you can just modify the scripts.

Ok, nice, I’m happy to wait for 6 to support and Ill test in the beta.
