Rendering Stills

I am very new to Deadline and after installing Deadline 8 I have managed to render Blender animations with Deadline. However I also frequently want to render stills. Is that possible ? How to do that ?

That’s more of a Blender question, but let’s see if I can figure that out.

In Blender, we render out individual frames as image files instead of video. That means you should be able to render out just one still by specifying onlt that frame. For example, if I wanted to render just frame 15, I would write “15” (without quotes) in the “Frame List” box.

Just to be clear, some of the 3D applications like 3ds Max, Maya, Modo, Houdini and Rhino support rendering of a single image on multiple machines using Deadline by splitting the image into regions (tiles), and assembling these pieces together when all machines have finished rendering.
However, Blender is currently not on the list of 3D applications that support tile rendering on Deadline.
