Repository on OSX Server 10.5.8 not updating

Hi guys,

I have installed the repository on a Mac Server but it doesn’t show 2012 in the menu?

Have then tried renaming the folder and reinstalling and nothing.

Have tried reboots on the server and client and still the same, there doesn’t seem to be a 2012 addition in the plugins\MayaCMD*.* files.

I downloaded the most recent version from the website, am I missing something?

Hi Ant,

That’s really strange. Just to confirm, does the repository installer shows version 5.0.* when you run it? We can probably just post the Maya plugin files that contain 2012, but we just want to be sure it’s v5 that’s being installed.

Yup, trying it again now from Deadline_5.0.dmg, I did try to copy and paste 2011 section and rename to 2012 but that didn’t work.

Still not working, .param files do not include 2012 references, can you either upload the files I need or tell me which files to modify?

Here are the plugin files. The zip file contains the MayaCmd and MayaBatch plugin folders. What I would do is go to \your\repository\plugins and move the existing MayaCmd and MayaBatch folders to a different location (don’t rename them, because Deadline will thing they’re still plugins). Then unzip the attached file to \your\repository\plugins to replace those moved folders.

yup, still not getting anything…

dragged out the folders to the desktop and then placed the zipped ones in place…

Is there anything I need to do to kick start this? I stopped and started deadline on the workstation, (windows everywhere but the server)

Problem = SharePoints

File copied across from Applications to another folder for sharing, can see 2012 in the list now
