Repository Setup Error

Im trying out setting up a Repository on a Novell Mapped drive and recieving an error when the Setup Wizard is launched.

In order for students to leverage current mapped drives after logging into Novell I installed a repository in an area that they all have access to.  After the repository has installed the application tries to launch the Setup Wizard an exception is generated.  See attachment

I have full Admin access to this area so permissions shouldnt be an issue

Hi Stuart,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Try installing .NET 1.1 first on the machine you're running the installer on. The .NET 1.1 installer was included with the Deadline installation package you downloaded. If you're still get this error afterwards, let us know!

No Worries Ryan

Definitely have the .Net1.1 running and still receiving the error.

Ive attached 3 screenshots.  The second is only to show the path structure to where the wizard and repository is installed

Hmm, strange. What OS (and service packs) are you running the repository wizard on?

There is a workaround to set the repository options. Open up the Deadline Monitor, enter Super User mode, and select Tools -> Configure Repository Options. All the settings here are what you would set through the Repository Setup Wizard.

The only additional work you would have to do is setup the share on the repository machine, although judging by the fact you're using a mapped drive, this is already taken care of.

If I find anything that might explain the problem, I'll let you know.
