Request: Switch to SIP API 2

We use API 2 exclusively for all of our GUI code (where PyQt is still used, at least). This is a somewhat selfish request, but it would be nice if Deadline’s GUI applications used this as well so we could more easily share and reuse code.

Plus it’s just a lot more intuitive.

Thanks for letting us know about SIP API 2. I’ll let the devs know of your request and see if there is any chance of this being an option in the future.
