Rhino render persistent errors

Hi,

We are running deadline 4.1 with rhino 4 and Vray in an academic setting with 10 render slaves. Unfortunately, we have been running into persistent problems with stalled renderings. The windows error is as follows:

Hi Jeremy,

A few initial questions:

  1. Does this happen with every Rhino file you try to render? Even very simple test files?
  2. Does this only happen with VRay as the renderer?
  3. Does this happen on every render slave, or is it perhaps limited to a few of them?
  4. When it does happen for a Rhino file, is the problem random (ie: a frame will stall on a slave, but the same slave will render it fine the next time), or does it consistently stall?
  5. Are you able to render the Rhino file in Interactive mode on a render slave that produces this problem?

Hopefully the answers to these questions will help narrow down the problem.
