Hello I am new to deadline , i just set up the network today. I am having no issues sending renders, but when i try to save xmeshes via deadline i am getting this error.
Exception during render: An error occurred in RenderTasks(): RenderTask: Unexpected exception (Exception caught in 3ds max: – Unknown property: “LoadMetadata” in undefined.
any ideas?
From the text of the error message, either the XMesh Saver plugin was not installed on the render nodes (so the XMeshSaverUtils interface is missing), or the version installed on the render nodes is older than the one in the submitter and does not support the XMeshSaverUtils.LoadMetadata() function.
Please be sure to install the latest build of XMesh Saver on all your render machines. If the problem persists, please let us know and we will investigate further.
Thanks! I think thats exactly what it is, I forgot to update the nodes with new saver you provided. I will check it out at work tomorrow.
