I’ve put a few thousand minutes into rendering so far this week and it’s been great. When things were working, I still had to register render nodes individually through Manage Identities, even if I’d used the AMI in the past. It was the only way to get it to start rendering.
I made a couple of small edits to my AMI, and now it doesn’t render at all now, no matter how many times I register a node. I just get a “can’t access secret” error for UBL. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Had I know Secrets would be this big of a pain I wouldn’t have installed it in the first place…
EDIT: For more context, I’ve tried a couple of different AMIs, respawning spot fleets, respawning the whole infrastructure, clearing orphaned AWS entries, and shutting it all down, including a restart of the computer that has the repository on it, and nothing has seemed to work yet.
I’m also happy to re-run the installer and remove Secrets altogether, but if anyone has any troubleshooting ideas we could try first I figured it might also help someone else in the future.
