See VFB when running Worker as service?

Is it at all possible to be able to see the framebuffer (VRay VFB) of the rendering job when running Launcher + Worker from a service …

I basically need to run the worker as service in order to auto-run it in combination with powermanagement through Pulse, but I ALSO want to allow users to check on how their render is going.

I’d check with Chaos, as they’ll know more if VFB can be viewed when running as a service (guessing not)

An alternative would be to run a master machine with a logged in user and use DR on the nodes allowing the user to view progress. less efficient but a workaround.

I’m not sure if using the checkpoint option and viewing those in the VFB would be any use? can end up with lots more data this way and i’m not sure if the .vrimg/.vrprog files are readable by VFB

@anthonygelatka , thanks for your input.
I asked on the Chaos forum. Will post the answer here once they reply (hopefully),
so others might find this post asked and answered.
