Set CPU Affinity by Time.

We’ve user boxes that we wish to have ‘background render.’

I’m thinking I could write a plug-in that would set CPU Affinities of jobs when they are assigned to slaves, based on the time of day.

Basically I wish to exclude two CPU’s between the hours of 8 am -6 pm, from selected slaves.

Before doing it myself, I thought I would ask if anyone written something like this?

I am confident folks here have written something like this, though I don’t recall if anyone has shared their work. I know deadlinecommand has an ability to do this, as I beleive do the APIs.
