We figured it out. Here’s a recap of the problem and the cause.
When rendering, After Effects was rendering the correct frame 1 frame per task. However the output always saved with frame number 0101 overwriting the same file over and over.
Cause was in the queue preset. It was set to 101 and that affected the output file name. Once we checked the Use Comp Frame Number, it produced correct output naming.
