Since last deadline update slave and other apps doesn't work/launch

Hi, I’ve installed deadline 10.1.2.2 over 10.0.x
Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS
And I get that failling message, What can I do ?

MACPRO2:/opt/Thinkbox/Deadline10/bin$ deadlineslave
This application failed to start because it could not
find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb".

Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, xcb.

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Hi @MagicNono

Do you have a stacktrace with this error? If so please share.

Can you try installing libxcb-glx and see if this fixes the issue?

if that doesnt work, try going into your Deadline’s /bin/plugins/platforms and do an ldd on libqxcb.so to see if there are any dependencies missing.

Regards,
Kavi

Hi,
Thanks, Could you please help me on how to do a stacktrace ?

@MagicNono

In cases I have seen before, there would be a stacktrace along with the error logged on the console. You can check for it in the Worker logs as well from /var/log/Thinkbox/Deadline[VERSION].
Did installing libxcb-glx work?
Additionally can you try launching the worker with -nogui flag?
