SMTD 3.0 sp1 not working

Everybody is getting a "Failed to Find the file [SubmitMaxToDeadline_DN_Main.ms] in Deadline Repository. (error code:1030) error.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Deadline 3.0 SP1 3 times now. No change.

What am I doing wrong?

You’ll have to setup the 3dsmax submission script again on the workstations:
franticfilms.com/software/su … tsetup.php

We’ve moved all of our core SMTD UI code back into one file - before it was separated into .NET and ActiveX controls. That’s why that particular file can no longer be found. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So is there a new SMTD .mcr for SP1? I don’t see it in the link provided anywhere.

Or just drag the old one back onto max again?

You just need to reinstall the .mcr file from the \your\repository\clientSetup\3dsmax folder. This file was updated when you installed 3.0 SP1.
