Solved!! : Nuke 10 can't submit with Deadline 8

I have installed and run everything correctly but when I submit from nuke 10 to deadline 8.
for Window work fine but when I submit from Mac I always get this error message :

The SubmitNukeToDeadline.py script could not be found in the Deadline Repository. Please make sure that the Deadline Client has been installed on this machine, that the Deadline Client bin folder is set in the DEADLINE_PATH environment variable, and that the Deadline Client has been configured to point to a valid Repository.

I try to re-install Nuke-submitter-osx-installer.app again and won’t work

I found the way to solve this issue. Go to /Users/Shared/Thinkbox/Deadline8/cache and delete everything inside cache folder, then open up Nuke and try to run the submitter again. This should hopefully recreate the cache folder properly.

This is fixed in 8.0.5.1, please could you upgrade to fix permanently.

Is there anyway Nuke 10 can be used in deadline 7, or is it only in 8?

Hello,

Nuke 10 has not been tested with Deadline 7, so there is no way to know how well it works there, but you can try to hack in your own support and give it a try.
