when overwriting a job from 3dsmax2009 the image sequence names are being messed up.
the image sequence should be
card_0467.exr
card_0468.exr
card_0469.exr
but when the job is resubmitted random images are like below
c0615_alt_0.exr
would this be deadline? mental ray or max?
This is Deadline. If for whatever reason Deadline can’t save out the image (ie: it’s locked or there is some sort of network issue), it tries to write to an alternate file name. This way, the whole frame doesn’t need to be rendered again just because saving the output failed.
