Hello, When I submit a max job from the SMTD with a frame chunk size of 2 or more and I have the render sequence set to “First and last frames first” it arrives on the farm with a frame chunk size of 1 no matter what. If I change the render sequence to something else like first to last forward then the job is submitted with the correct chunk size.

Is there a way to fix this so that the chunk size setting works with all render sequence types?

I am using Deadline 6.1 on Windows 7x64.

Hey Christian,

Thanks for reporting this. In this case, the first and last frames should be separate tasks, but then the rest of the sequence should be chunked. I tested submitting with SMTD and confirmed this bug, so we’ve logged it and will try to address it in 6.2.
