Is there a way to submit jobs automatically? We’d like to write an app that automatically submits jobs to the queue without having to use the interface.

Hi Erick,
Submission to Deadline can be done via command line (see section 1.3):
franticfilms.com/software/su … ission.php
So basically you could write any application, whether it is a script inside AE or a standalone application, provided that it can set up the submission files and execute the command line to submit them to Deadline.
