When trying to remove/delete slaves from the list in the Deadline Monitor, I get an error:
Render10: The directory is not empty.
(System.Exception)
To work around this we navigate to a folder in the installation directory (ie: C:\Program Files (x86)\Prime Focus\DeadlineRepository\slaves) and manually delete the folder and the nested file to get ride of a computer we no longer want on the list. In Deadline v3, we simply were able to delete the computers right from the Monitor.
Do we have something setup incorrectly? Our Repository is on a Window XP 64bit machine running Deadline Version: 4.0.0.40330/ FranticX Version: 2.0.0.40326. Thanks!
Thanks for reporting this! We actually came across this same bug yesterday. It’s already been fixed internally, and the fix will be included in the Deadline 4.1 release. Manually deleting the slave from the repository folder is the current workaround.
Cheers,
Can I add to this… Clearing the Error logs from the same list in the job monitor results the same error.
Right click node in Slave list > Slave Reports > Clear Error Reports results in “Render16: The directory is not empty. (System.Exception)”.
I assume this is hand in hand with the same error… but thought I should bring it up. I am able to delete the errors by opening the View Error Reports per machine, selecting and deleting the errors. But obviously that defeats the purpose of your Clear Errors menu option.
Thanks!
Yup, that one was addressed as well.
Cheers,
