We got new submission scripts from Grant, because the old ones that ship with Deadline caused us some crazy issues since the update to 7.
We’d appreciate it if you could update the scripts for the next version with the ones attached, or contact Grant to get them straight from the source.

We upgraded to Deadline 7.2.0.18 in combination with RPM 6.051 one month ago, and since that i get errors like “Deadline6 data failed to restore:”, and also settings from the Network tab wouldn´t be restored if we switch passes in RPM.
The attached script above fixed that problem, but one still exists, switching between “job”, “Render”, “Options” and so on, ned more then two clicks on the needed tab to bring up the correct UI.
It would be great if there exists a “Newsletter” or an UpdateInfoService, when fixes like that make a round through the web. It would help a lot, if users would get informed like sourlburn that handles.

These fixes were already provided privately directly to Thinkbox by the RPM developer, so you don’t need to worry about missing out on any updates here. Feel free to subscribe to our php bulletin board and/or via RSS also our news channel on our website to receive notification of Deadline updates.
