Using Vray with Deadline

Hi All;

We have 2 Vray licences and each Vray has licence has 10 DR licences. So we have 2x10 DR licences on our Vray dongles. We would like to use that DR licences with our 20 host machine, but I couldn’t configure Deadline to use our DR licences. We can use that DR licences over Max2011 BackBurner with Distributed Rendering. Is there any way to configure Deadline to use that 20 DR licences over Deadline itself without using BackBurner?

Hi,
Deadline does not presently support VRay DBR out of the box.

Deadline does fully support STD network VRay rendering for several applications, it just doesn’t have the DBR functionality yet…
