Volume select by Mesh Object crashes PRT Volume

Hi,

I only use Krakatoa in conjunction with frost, but I’ve been trying to use the PRT volume with a volume select based on a mesh, and it just crashes Max when I do it (Max 2011 64bit)

Can anyone confirm this?

In Krakatoa 1.6 and higher, it should not crash, but would not work either. I am not sure why it is crashing, but it is definitely NOT SUPPORTED as you can see from the documentation.

Ah, cheers - that’s a shame - using higher than 1.6 but it does crash…

You shouldn’t NEED to use it though. A KCM would give you the expected result. Sure it’s a bit more setup, but it at least works.
