Vray or Vray+Maya

Hello all,
I am running into the current issue.
I have copied my Maya install director to a location on the network.
I am running the 4.1 beta of Deadline, and have to the Maya Plugin to point to our network path, as well as our Vray stand alone:

However when ever I send a test scene to Deadline this is the output I get errors like access is denied.
First time I tried it was with a Drive letter but that seemed to wonk out on the get go so now I use UNC paths.
I thought it was the running the slave as Administorator mode that was the issue but then I thought again Deadline 4.0 sp1 was supposed to resolve this issue with windows 7.
any Ideas would be helpful.

Vray standalone error:

Maya Error

I think the problem is directly related to running these applications from a network location. Have you tried installing local copies of Maya and VRay on a couple of machines to see if you have the same problems running the applications from a local installation?

This was a different problem that was related to assigning running processes to job objects (which are used to manage process trees). This error you’re seeing here indicates that the process can’t even launch due to lack of permissions. As mentioned earlier, I would suggest installing local copies on a couple of machines to see if that works.

Cheers,

I launched deadlineslave via command line and it started to work…

out of the 2 machines that I was attempting this on only 1 (computer A) had Vray and Maya installed. Computer A succesflly rendered images.
Computer B was just a node and once I launched deadlineslave via command line it started to get further but seems to throw out warnings and doesn’t render images. it does however render with maya software.
Looks like i gotta get on the horn with chaos images.
