vray problem

the problem is:

I have 2 computers. The first one is my workstation that has repository installed. From this computer I’m submitting job (from 3ds max + vray renderer) to second computer, and everything is working fine, but when the computer is finished rendering (frame buffer is gone), slave still says rendering (Slave: Running / Rendering, Render Threads: Waitng), and 3dmax is in taskbar, but when I click on it , it just returns to taskbar. The plugin status says Rendering Image - 97% and nothing is going on, but the image is actually rendered (I can find it in repository) ???

I haven’t heard of this problem before. What version of 3dsmax and VRay

are you using? Do you have this problem with every VRay scene you try to

render? Is it possible for you to post a simple VRay scene (no external

references, etc) that reproduces the problem?

I’m using 3dmax 9 + VRay Adv 1.5 RC3 and Deadline 2.6 .This problem is happening with every Vray scene.

I just tested the scene with 3dsmax 9 / Vray 1.5 (release version) and

it worked fine. The image rendered properly and the slave continued on

as normal. Does this problem happen on every frame of a render job, or

just on the last frame? The reason I ask is that Deadline may be getting

stuck when trying to notify the user of the job that the render has

thanks, it was e-mail notification setting, i solved the problem :slight_smile:
