Hi Guys,
We are running Deadline 2.7.29178 and Wake on Lan does not work from within the deadline monitor.
We can wake our render slaves with third party tools and if we run a wake-on-lan packet sniffer with these tools we see the wol packet.
unfortunately when we try to start the machine from within deadline no packet is caught so potentially deadline is not sending it at all.
kind regards,

Hi Tig,
I think we figured out this problem. Deadline was sending the magic
packet to 255.255.255.255, which doesn’t seem to work if the remote
machine is on a different subnet. When we started using the subnet’s
broadcast address, it seemed to be working fine. This fix will be
included in the Deadline 3.0 release.
Cheers,
- Ryan
