Well don’t I feel silly. In my haste I had forgotten to use my network path when plugging in my light profiles and instead had used my local path, resulting in an obvious discrepancy when my other machine couldn’t pull the profiles. Oh well, at least it was a learning experience in how not to do things when rendering over a network.
I sure am glad that is over.
Hi guys, I am using Deadline 5.2.0.49424 in free mode with one other machine connected (my main work pc which hosts the repository + another), rendering a somewhat large (2560x1440) interior scene using sun & sky + mia_exposure_photographic, with gamma correct nodes at .454 on all my color slots on my materials as well as IES profiles on some of my point lights.
For some reason the tiles that are being rendered out on my network slave (the one not hosting the repo) are all coming out washed out looking and funky, while the tiles rendered locally seem to be a-ok.
I have tried removing my gamma correction nodes to see if that was the problem, as well as switch out the mia_exposure_photographic and removing sun/sky and just leaving the point lights, but nothing I do seems to be working.
I’ve been troubleshooting this issue for about a week now and haven’t had much luck so I am hoping you might be able to help steer me in the right direction.
Thanks.
