I’m trying to configure the web service to not allow empty passwords, and every time I uncheck the option in “Configure Repository Options” and close the configure window, when I open it again the option is checked again.
Is this a known problem? Or am I doing something wrong?

Before I forget, we’re on Deadline 10.0.16.6
We’re in the middle of a load of work for the CES in January, and I don’t intend updating until the project has finished rendering. So if this has been fixed in 10.0.23.4, it would be great to know if it’s possible to hack the fix into 10.0.16.6

Looks like there is a bug here. However, I was able to disable by doing the following…
#1 - Require Auth and Allow Empty Passwords - Both Enabled > Hit Ok
#2 - Disable Require Auth > Hit Ok
#3 - Disable Allow Empty Passords > Hit Ok
#4 - Enable Require Auth > Hit Ok
It’s silly, but it worked! I’ll report this one to get it fixed.
