Wierd error while trying to install krakatoa on the network

We have real difficulties installing Krakatoa on the network. I know that the plugins searches for the \script and \Icon folder two level up where it was loaded and based on the other forum the krakatoa folder structure could lay anywhere on the network .
The strange thing is that that the network version (which is being pointed at in the local plugin.ini ) works on the workstation if I install krakatoa locally , although I am not pointing to the local version and as soon as I uninstall it locally, the network version is useless. I was really wondering if there is something else being installed which is important to the plug in to be loaded in max , some windows libraries ?

Could you please give us a hint on that , we are kind of in a really rush situation !

Thx in advance

Are you trying to install Krakatoa for network rendering on network slaves, or attempting to get Krakatoa loaded/synced to workstations from a central location?

To the best of my knowledge (which is a bit limited when it comes to network installation and licensing), having all the files from your local install copied in the correct structure to a network location and pointing the plugin.ini to the correct DLR folder should be all you need, but there is also some Windows Registry magic going on responsible for finding the license which might get modified as you install/uninstall the local version.

What are the symptoms you are seeing? Error messages? Krakatoa just not available in Max (script error on launch)?
Any additional info would be helpful.
