Deadline screensaver could be improved if you could suppress deadline slave based on some settings.

  • Minimum free ram
  • Certain Processes not running
  • Time of Day

Then I would just have some feedback in the color or text of the logo indicating if it will or won’t launch slave. And re-test the criteria every five mins.
