wishlist: ignore . directories

We use Subversion for managing our local Deadline customizations (something I suspect I’ll be glad about when the update comes!). However, when I do “Configure plugins…” in Monitor in super-user mode, I get an error:

The message is a little obscure, but I’m guessing it’s because there’s a .svn directory in the plugins folder now:

pluginsDir.png

It would be great if, when enumerating directories to make plugin lists, Deadline ignored .svn (realistically, it would be good to ignore all directories whose name begins with a period, I think).

This is not holding anything up, because after the warning, the configure plugins dialog comes up normally.

Hey Leo,

We could definitely add this to the wishlist, it should be a relatively simple fix - in this case it definitely makes sense to skip over folders with a leading ‘.’ . However, the fix probably won’t make it in until version 4.0. Good to hear it’s not a game breaker though

Cheers,
