Wishlist : Using Spacewarp with PRT loaders

If i want to use saved 10 million particles, i will use pflow>krakatoa birth>and some forces and deflectors to drive the particles motion. but if i hit render(100 frames long animation) for 10 million particles, pflow reads particles from disk and it freezes for a while. it does this for each frame in rendering and updates pflow information for each frame(it happens for 10 million and more particles but it renders fine and in cost of time …)

Is it possible to use spacewarps with PRT loaders? like we do use with legacy particle systems.

my machine config: amd athlone 64bit X2 3800+ and 2 GB DDR2 ram.

You’ll still have the same problem. If you have to apply a spacewarp to 10 million legacy particles, it would be really slow. Especially since you are doing history-dependant animation.

If you were doing just spacial transform functions, then it wouldn’t be so bad, but then you’d be using modifiers, not spacewarps. You can’t do that either, but if you could, that would be faster.
