Want to try a maxscript scene processing job in workstation mode but get this error when starting up our machines, think it’s caused by not having thinking particles with afterburn… There’s also a few duplicate dll errors, is there away to get deadline to ignore these?
Is Deadline currently failing the job when the popup is detected? If so, the error reports should contain a dump of the popup that was detected. This dump can be used to figure out the appropriate popup ignorer to use. Feel free to post an error report containing the dump and we’ll help you out.
Cheers,
- Ryan
I think this is the first error dialog you can get if your DCPFLICS / AFTERFLICS licensing isn’t configured correctly on your render slaves. A similar error of duplicate dll’s can occur if the plugin.ini order of load up is in a non-STD configuration with particular reference to fume/afterburn/TP dll’s. (IIRC, this use to happen quite alot with final render as well)
