Unable to connect to the specified Repository

I have installed the Deadline 8 Repository and the Deadline software (and as far as I know no problems). But when I open the Monitor then I get this message: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/707 … titled.png

I am on a MAC. What is the problem ?

I am going to answer on your internal support ticket, and once we find the solution we can post here with an update.

If anyone here is bated for the answer, there were some difficulties with permissions in early versions of deadline 8. We fixed that by modifying the permissions of the files that are created, and now any files that are copied during sink should be readable and writable by everyone. I believe we fix this in service pack 4 and newer.
