I need a way to add the ability to use limit groups inside the AE, and max,and maya submission plugins.
Currently we need to submit our jobs as suspended and then set the limit groups inside the deadline monitor. This is unintuitive for the common artist.
Can someone help me modify the scripts myself, or send me an update?
If you mean the built-in MAXScript version of the Submitter, the upcoming version 2 of the script will blow your mind 
And of course it supports Limit Groups as one of the new features…

Btw, this is not the latest documentation, even more features have been added recently, incl. batch submission, script job submission, various frame step modes, support for region crop rendering, export of most properties of all major renderers for unprecedented job tweaking possibilities via the Monitor etc.

The AE submission dialog will all you to select limit groups as well. We’ll see if we can squeeze this into the rest of the dialogs before the next release.

Great. When can i get it?
We’re aiming to do the release in a couple of weeks. Some of the requirements this feature has do not exist in Deadline 2.0, so unfortunately we can’t get the changes out to you early.
