I changed env path to DL9.
But, it is still opening DL8 submitter.

Have you restarted 3ds Max since the change?
What do you get if you evaluate in the MAXScript Listener

systemTools.getEnvVariable "DEADLINE_PATH"

Right now my Env. variable returns “C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline9\bin” even when I press the SMTD 8 launcher button. So it should work as long as the Env. variable is visible with the correct value inside 3ds Max…

I believe you can set the Env. variable via MAXScript from inside of 3ds Max, and then it should work without restarting…
