3dsmax - V-Ray - Separate Render Channels not saving

Hi,

when using deadline9 my render elements from V-Ray are not correctly saved to disk. On submission deadline creates a folder for all elements but those remain empty. Beauty pass is saved though. From the render log i can understand what the problem is but do not know how to fix it. It reads as follows:

“2017-08-23 14:02:07: 0: WARNING: Unable to locate V-Ray local render file: C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Local\Thinkbox\Deadline9\slave\artusM5\jobsData\599d6e4892377b3340c59553\VRayOutput_tempfjP9Y0\myRender_VRayRawShadow_VRayRawShadow.VRayRawShadow.0601.jpg”

When looking into that temp folder i do find my render elements. And they are not named like in that warnin, namely:
“myRender_VRayRawShadow_VRayRawShadow.VRayRawShadow.0601.jpg”
but instead the files in that folder are named:
“myRender.VRayRawShadow.0601.jpg”

What can I do to fix this? I am using the submitter Script in 3ds Max2016, Vray 3.50.04, Deadline 9

Thanks!
Daniel

What version of Deadline 9 are you using? I’m pretty sure this was fixed in 9.0.4.0.

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. I am using 9.0.3.0. - I will update and give it a try. Sound promising…
