[Deadline8] Maya render error using redshift

Hi All,
I have some error, such as “Renderer returned non-zero error code -1073740940.”
It was fine when I tried to render in local.
The strange thing is that some tasks result error out but sometimes, they working good with same scene after try render again and again.

Well, for the second error the exit code -1073740940 on Windows works out to exit code “0xC000 0374”. I checked my trust list of Windows exit codes and couldn’t find a match for that (big jump between 0x327 and 0x3E2). You can look for yourself here:

For the first error, it just seems that a few plugins (V-Ray and XFrog) are not loading correctly:

I’d open Maya on that machine and check the plugin manager to see if they’re loading on startup. If not, see if you can re-install or follow some guides there. It’s actually fairly common for non-batch renders to throw this sort of error and I’m not entirely sure why (some expert advice from the Maya experts would be great here). You could see if enabling batch mode gets you further for that particular error.

I couldn’t find a “0xC000 0374” code at ‘https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms681382(v=vs.85).aspx’, too.
So, I’ve ask this issue to the Maya Forums and waiting for a reply now.
What is the batch mode anyway? Is this the option of DeadlineMayaClient.mel?

Batch mode is our jargon term for keeping an application open between tasks. In the case of Maya we actually call MayaBatch and pipe melscript to the program to instruct it to render particular frames.

For the submitter, it’s just a checkbox. It’s this guy right here:
