Web Proxy?

It says in the docs that you can install an nginx server for HTTPS. Is that recommended or still required in Deadline 10? Is there a white paper on installing a nginx server for that purpose? Is a certificate alone enough and just the proxyserver?

So, the Proxy protocol uses raw HTTP and doesn’t make use of authentication mechanisms so securing via SSL is about the only way to limit access. Now, you can do whatever you like to put that SSL in place until we’ve got something in place (RCS is slowly replacing the Proxy in 10 and later).

For setting that up (flavoured for Linux), we’ve got this part of the docs:
docs.thinkboxsoftware.com/produ … nginx.html

On that page we refer to this area for actually creating the certs:
docs.thinkboxsoftware.com/produ … -ref-label
