mixed platforms question

I was wondering about running the Repository on Linux with all the clients on Windows (with possibly Mac later on). I know this is possible but because I’ve never tried it, are they any special considerations in a setup like this?

Right now, I’m running the Repo on Server 2012 R2 and its all well and good - but the need to price per core with Server 2016 are making me rethink my future plans.

I suppose I could just go ahead and try it out, but just wanted to hear about any “gotchas” that come up with this sort of thing.

It pretty straight forward.
We have a linux server with linux and windows slaves.

If you dont already use unc paths for file paths, make user or the repo options > Mapped paths, so that the linux machine knows how to deal with the other os paths.

Hope this helps.
