Any reason why the deadline.ini, located in programdata\deadline8\ keeps getting it’s contents deleted? I’ve had a few machines do that, it’s an easy fix (copy contents of another file, or overwrite the file altogether), but it is annoying.

Yeah, it’s a race condition between the different client applications doing automatic configuration. It’s fixed in later versions…

The workaround was to lock the file as read-only but that means you can’t change the Repository directory and other settings from the UI.
