Missing email notifications

I’ve configured our SMTP server in the email notification settings.
The server is working, as other applications are successfully sending mails though it. But in Deadline for some reason nothing gets sent.
I’ve connected to one of our slaves at the end of the given job and got this

I’ve no idea what exactly is the meaning of this. My setup is quite simple:

smtp: server local IP address
sender account: deadline@ourdomain
port 25

no auth required

Testing through the same dialog window WORKS! I receive the deadline notification test, but apart from this I get nothing else (errors, warning, job completion etc)

Mmm… Does your e-mail server have a sender blacklist? The way Deadline sends e-mails (or even runs events) they are send/run on the machine where it happened. So, if a job failed, the Slave that decided that will be the one that sent the e-mail.

If that’s the case, you may want to set up a mail relay that your master server can trust and only allow Deadline to use it.
