RealFlow doesn't work?

I get this error when trying to run RealFlow in Deadline 2.5?

I do have a license for RealFlow. So I don’t know why it’s complaining.

Try to run a RealFlow command line job on the slave machine that is

reporting the error, using the same command line arguments that Deadline

is using (which are printed out during rendering in the log). If the

command line job succeeds, then I would try restarting the machine

because there might be some environment variables that Deadline doesn’t

recognize.

After browsing the RF website, I was under the impression that you need

a separate license to do command line rendering (ie: net rendering). If

that’s the case, it would explain your problem. It’s probably best that

you contact the RF guys about this to confirm.

Cheers,

Crap, I think your right.

That’s stupid. Another license just to run it on my machine in Deadline.

What I wanted to do was to submit a 3D Studio Max job, and have it wait until the RealFlow simulation was finished.

Hmm… any ideas?

Thanks,

If only some other company would come up with a water simulator that works with Deadline.

Hmm… if only there was another.

Know of any?
