max 7 and deadline error


Hello there. I've been getting alot of these errors on our Dual Quad core (8 core) renderfarms running on xp64 and some on regular xp32.

I have no idea whats wrong. Thanks in advance for the help.

Odds are, that problem is related to a bug we’ve just recently fixed in

the 3dsmax plugin. We hope to release the patch for this fix later this

week.

Thanks for the prompt response. What do you suggest we do to get around

this in the meantime? This is causing major issues on our farm and is

really affecting our production at the moment.

Try using the 3dsmaxCmd plugin. It just uses the 3dsmax command line

rendering tool to handle the rendering (our other plugin hooks directly

into the Max API). Information on installing and using the plugin can be

found here:

It’s not as fully features as our other plugin, but hopefully it can get
