How to render Maya Fur using deadline?

I realize this may be a simple thing for experienced render people, but we have 2 render slaves, and are running the free version of Deadline 2.5 (or trial, or whatever its called - the version where we get 2 slave licenses). Anyways, we have a job that uses Maya fur, and we need to submit this job to Deadline Maya 7. How do we specify paths, etc? the maya fur comes iwth a whole bunch of subfolders in our project folder - how do we get around doing this? Fur takes at least 2-3 minutes, and sometimes 5 on our development machines, and for my fur artist to keep waiting for fur to render is a lot of time wasted, if he renders on his local machine.

thanks in advance!

Hi Ambar,

A recommended setup for Maya is to have your project folder on a shared

location that all of your machines can see (whether it be a windows

folder share or a mapped path), then create your Maya scene within this

project folder. This way, when you submit the job to Deadline, you can

specify the shared project path in the submission dialog, and all of

your slave machines will be able to see it (and therefore see the Maya

Fur folders within the project folder).

Cheers,
