Hi,

As discussed here:

Oh yeah. it’s worth pointing out that we’ve done a simple test of a textured cube rotating, and it works correctly.

Hi Iestyn,

Is it possible that the slaves don’t have access to some plugins or

other elements that were used to create this scene? That’s what I gather

from this error message:

“Bad Global This error might be the result of a Config or Content

directory not containing all the files required to render this scene.”

The fact that you can render a simple scene without any problems also

leads me to believe that the slaves don’t have access to all the

resources they need. Someone recently had problems setting up Lightwave

for net rendering, although I believe the problems were with 9.0 and not

9.2, but maybe they’re solution might work for you (see last post):

Also, since you’re still using Deadline 2.5, there should be an option

in the submission box to enable/diable screamernet rendering (this

option was removed in 2.6, but re-added in 2.7 for compatibility with LW

7.5). Try submitting two jobs for the same scene, one with screamernet

enabled, and one with it disabled. Let us know if you have any luck with

either job.

Cheers,
