And the machine stays on

Can you please help on this

Thanks

Hi Khaled,

We’ve heard of this problem once before, and we’re currently looking into it. Unfortunately, we haven’t had any luck reproducing the problem yet, so if you come across any additional information that you think might help us out, let us know!

Cheers,

  • Ryan

We were finally able to reproduce this problem. It turns out it only

occurs when a rendering slave is being shutdown due to temperature, and

the tests we were initially doing were on idle slaves. We’ve fixed the

problem, which will be included in a maintenance release that we’ll be

doing shortly after siggraph this year.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cheers,

Happy to hear that...

thx a lot Ryan

Hello Ryan,

I don’t know if this helps but I found that deleting the two “.tlock” files from my “settings” folder in Deadline Repository solved the problem

And actually along with the tlock files I found a bunch of files all named “powerManagementSettings.xml.XXX_YYY” or “powerManagementSettings.xml.deleteMe_YYY” where XXX is the computer name and YYY is a number (no idea what does it represent) and they all contain the exact same content as “powerManagementSettings.xml”

I hope this helps
