I am currently evaluating the software for use with Max and Aftereffects -



I wanted to clarify that when Deadline starts up Aftereffects to render a job, it does so in a “network render” mode and doesn’t require a license to actually perform the render.



I am pretty sure that when you start a render in 3dStudio from the command line it runs in network render mode and doesn’t require a license, but wanted to comfirm this as well.

As long as you are using aerender.exe as your render executable, After

Effects will be started in network render mode. This is similar to how

3dsmax works.
